Delete your account
You can delete your Kobuddy account and its data at any time.
Ask us to delete it
Email privacy@usekobuddy.com with the subject “Delete my Kobuddy account”, from the email address on your account, or tell us the phone number you sign in with. We may ask you to confirm it’s you before we delete anything.
We’ll delete your account within 30 days and confirm by email or SMS.
What’s deleted
- Your profile: name, phone number and email address
- Your Kobuddy address, so emails sent to it stop arriving
- All your stored bank alerts, transactions, categories, rules and settings
Copies can remain in our providers’ encrypted backups for up to 30 days before they’re overwritten. We keep only what the law requires us to.
Before you go
Remove the Gmail filter that forwards your bank alerts to Kobuddy, and the Kobuddy address under Gmail’s Forwarding and POP/IMAP settings.
